The CoolSNAP HQ2 camera is the flagship of Photometrics next generation of high-sensitivity CCD cameras for quantitative fluorescence microscopy. With high quantum efficiency, total elimination of CCD glow, and very low read noise, this camera is perfect for demanding imaging applications in microscopy.

Low-noise electronics and the Extreme Eclipse Technology eliminates unwanted CCD electronic noise, effectively enabling longer exposure times!. An interline detector thermoelectrically cooled to -30°C, and two distinct modes of operation (high speed @ 20 MHz and high sensitivity @ 10 MHz) enable the CoolSNAP HQ2 to deliver superb image data.
